How To Make Nether Portal in Minecraft
Now I will explain to you how to make a nether portal step by step with screenshots
What is Nether Portal
*A nether portal will look like this, basically, a nether portal is a way to go into another world called NETHER
*The nether portal has much design but we are going to make the design shown in the picture
Require material to make a Nether Portal
14 Obsidian
1 Flint and Steel
Tip: you can use fire charge if you do not have flint and steel
Steps to make a Nether Portal
1) Build an obsidian frame
In Minecraft, you have to make a frame of obsidian the base of this frame should be 4 blocks of obsidian wide, and the sides have the height of 5 blocks of obsidian. This design will take a total of 14 blocks of obsidian
Here are game control for different versions of Minecraft for placing the block
' Java Edtion (win / mac) : right click on the block
' Pocket edition (PE) : tap on the block
' X box (360/one) : press L1
' PS (3/4) : press L2
' Win 10 Edition : right-click on the block
'Education Edition : right click on the block
2) Activate the Nether Portal
now, you have to activate the nether portal. For activation, you can use either Flint and steel or Fire charge. In this tutorial, we are going to use flint and steel. Your pointer (plus sing) should be on the bottom block of obsidian and then press the use key, this key may be different for different versions of Minecraft ex. for java edition: left click
Once you use the flint and steel the inner part of the obsidian frame should glow and turn purple in color, which means that your nether portal has been activated. Now nether portal build is complete
3) Walk into the portal
To go in Nether walk or jump in the portal
Once, you are in nether the same portal will appear there also, use of this portal is to go back in your Minecraft world. Now you can explore the Nether, Enjoy...
